Our name is inspired by Robin Hood - someone that will stand up for what is right and for those without a voice.
In the cartoon portrayal of this classic, Robin Hood is a fox. Our marketing geniuses took it from there.
As we grow (with your help) and have more leverage within the fashion industry, we want to be an advocate on behalf of those currently without a voice – factory workers overseas.
Fox & Robin is a benefit corporation – meaning we are legally obligated to optimize for more than just profits. For us, that means doing right by our factory workers and the environment.
Nearly all our competitors are C Corps and, consequently, are legally bound to maximize profits for shareholders. Our competitors can be sued for being too environmentally friendly (at the expense of profits), whereas we can be sued if we are not doing enough to mitigate our environmental impact (please don’t sue us).
We donate 1% of sales to various NGOs to help protect the environment and replenish the resources we spend.
Forrest Galante, a world-renowned conservationist and member of our Advisory Board, helps source the best NGOs to support. His approval is required before we donate.
In addition to mitigating our impact, it is important to us that we support non-profits solely dedicated to saving our environment.
We strive to provide customers the highest quality products at reasonable prices. To accomplish this objective, we spend next to nothing on paid ads.
To have responsible production, quality products, and reasonable prices is quite a task. Something had to give, and we chose paid advertising.
If you are reading this, chances are a friend told you about us. We rely on organic and word-of-mouth advertising to fuel our growth.
